IZH-2717: Overview and Specifications
For the first time commercial IZH-2717 wagon was bornstill in the 1999th year. It was an improved version of the well-known "heel". A small-capacity cargo van was designedbased on the IZH-Oda passenger car. But at the same time, engineers paid much attention to the load-carrying capacity of the car. In order for the pickup to be excellent for commercial use, the developers made a number of changes. First of all, it touched the ground clearance, which increased by as much as 23 centimeters. To the car perfectly withstand all sorts of load, the suspension design was changed: instead of springs, leaf springs are placed here. For the convenient loading / unloading of the goods, placement of a flap was provided. He was present on both tilt and isothermal vans. The rear door can be fixed in the open position with the help of a pneumatic stop.
About the carrying capacity
Thanks to these technical changes, engineers have achieved the maximum load capacity of the machine. For thermal vans, it is 650 kilograms, and for tilts - 740 kilograms.
Engine and transmission characteristics
Customers can choose from two typespetrol engines. The first is UMPO-331 with a capacity of 62 horsepower and a working capacity of 1.7 liters. The second is a VAZ unit with a capacity of 74 horsepower and a working capacity of 1.6 liters. Both options are very reliable and tyagovity. They work together with a mechanical gearbox for 5 speeds.
About suspension and braking system
The front suspension of the novelty is independent (McPherson), and the rear suspension is dependent (spring). The front axle is fitted with disc brakes, the rear - drum.

The serial production of vans IZH-2717 was discontinued in 2005. He was replaced by a new car - IZH-27175.
