Greek salad with cheese

Traditional salads such as salad "Olivier", salad "Caesar" or "Mimosa" have long been often served in any home, so today we will try to open a recipe for you all the long-known Greek salad, but with new ingredients.
Basically for the preparation of Greek saladuse the traditional Greek cheese "Feta" and it, as a rule, is the main component. If necessary, you can replace it with ordinary cheese to prepare a delicious Greek salad. The recipe with cheese, however, many housewives do not like it because of its excessive salinity, but this is not a defect of the product. To reduce salinity, you should only hold pieces of cheese for a few days in cold filtered water, or in other words - soak them. Water should be changed several times during this time, because only then all the extra salt can quickly dissolve.
Other components of the salad usually becomeolives, tomatoes, cucumbers and olive oil. In different countries, the ingredients vary, adding either sweet peppers or anchovies. In many English-speaking countries, always add a leaf salad and onions. It happens that even beets are found, but in Greece itself, so many different ingredients are not used.
Usually, with cheese in traditional Greeksalad, as we said earlier, use olives. But you can change the ingredients, for example, take prunes instead of olives or stuffed with red caviar of olives. In the opinion of many chefs, such a Greek salad with cheese and prunes will be awarded the highest praise. Prunes always gave an exquisite taste to any dish, whether it's cake, baked chicken, homemade cakes or dairy dessert. You can also use boiled chicken fillet. Salad with brynza and chicken will be a successful addition to dishes from potatoes or rice.

Greek salad with brynza requires:
- polnanki olives without pits (100 grams on average);
- caviar salmon red (up to 100 gr.);
- fresh cucumbers and tomatoes (3-4 large tomatoes and 2-3 cucumbers);
- prunes (100-150 gr.);
- leaf lettuce (or Peking cabbage at discretion);
- olive oil (50-70 gr.);
- if you wish, you can use dried oregano or fennel;
- brynza (about 250 gr.);
- You will also need white and black ground pepper (to taste).
If all the necessary ingredients arewe can proceed directly to the cooking process. Let's start with prune the prunes, first removing it from the bones. Rinse it thoroughly and dry it. Brynza, soaked in water for several days, also needs to be washed and cut into small cubes. The same thing we do with tomatoes and cucumbers: we wash and cut. For a beautiful appearance, cut cucumbers into circles, and tomatoes into squares.
Then proceed to the olives. It is important to use olives without pits, since in each hole you need to add a few eggs. After the olives are filled with red salmon caviar, proceed to the lettuce leaves. Like all ingredients, they require thorough washing, after which, you can pick them up and spread them on a large dish. On the leaves carefully put the pre-cut tomatoes and cucumbers, and between them lay out the cheese, stuffed olives and prunes. The resulting salad is seasoned with spices and poured with olive oil.
