Today, on May 17, more than 40 thousand people have already signed the petition to review the results of the Eurovision contest.
Atur Hovhannisyan - a resident of Yerevan and the author of the petition wrote: “Many are sure that this year the winner of the competition was not the one who should have won.”
In addition, in a call to the organizers of the contest, it is said that, contrary to the rules, the winner from Ukraine, Jamal, gave a song that had obvious political overtones (the composition “1944” is dedicated to the Crimean Tatars, whom Stalin deported). And in a conversation with prankers, she admitted that she was very lucky and she was allowed to perform with this song at the competition.
The editors of uznayvse.ru recalls that the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 was held on May 14 in Stockholm. Victory at Eurovision won a singer from Ukraine Jamal. The second place went to Demi Im from Australia with the song Sound of Silence, in third place.
